Dr. Yaser Kawar, MD, is a triple board certified physician specializing in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency as well as pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan, concluding his training in 2017. Since then, Dr. Kawar has devoted his professional efforts to the realm of pulmonary and critical care medicine.
Dr. Kawar holds a special interest in asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and lung cancer. As an active member of the American College of Chest Physicians, he is dedicated to staying at the forefront of advancements in his field.
In his medical practice, Dr. Kawar is unwavering in his commitment to providing patient centered care, placing a strong emphasis on empathy. His guiding philosophy centers on treating each patient as if they were a cherished member of his own family.
Outside of his medical pursuits, Dr. Kawar derives joy from spending quality time with his family. Additionally, he nurtures a particular fondness for travel during his leisure moments.
