Dr. May Alattar, MD, completed her internal medicine residency at Medstar Health in Baltimore in 2009, followed by fellowship training in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. Subsequently, served as a faculty physician at the University of Maryland until 2019 then transitioned to Mid Atlantic Permanente group as a full-time endocrinologist till 2022.
Currently, she splits her time between inpatient Diabetes Management in the hospital setting and outpatient virtual specialty care. Joining TeleMed2U has allowed her to continue her passion in providing exceptional care in the field of diabetes and endocrinology for the widest range of patients.
When she’s not working, she spends her spare time experimenting with fabrics, paint, and mediums. To her, creativity knows no boundaries or limitations.
