I was raised in suburban San Diego and completed my high school education there. I pursued undergraduate studies at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, ME, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2005. Following my undergraduate education, I returned to the San Diego area to work at the Scripps Research Institute, focusing on research in circulating tumor cell biology. In 2011, I obtained my Doctor of Medicine degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI. I then undertook a five-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery at St. Louis University.
Since 2017, I have been practicing as a board-certified Otolaryngologist (ENT specialist) in Southern California. I am deeply committed to collaborating with patients and their families to develop effective therapeutic strategies, with a strong emphasis on shared decision-making to achieve optimal outcomes. I strive to incorporate a degree of levity and humor in patient interactions to build trust and ease. My prior experience in various telemedicine settings has prepared me to bring my expertise in ear, nose, and throat care to the TeleMed4U population.
