Dr. Farhan Tahir, MD is a board-certified Rheumatologist with 15 years of experience. He completed his residency at NYU Downtown Hospital and achieved his Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. Dr. Tahir is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Rheumatology. He was a former member of the Rheumatology teaching faculty at Abington Hospital, where he earned the Excellence in Action award. With a reputation for excellence in patient care, Dr. Tahir continues to make a positive impact on the health and well-being of those under his care. His commitment to ongoing education and patient-centered approach defines him as a trusted and compassionate healthcare provider.
He has a personal interest in the cause, diagnosis and treatment of inflammatory conditions and autoimmunity. Dr. Tahir enjoys many outdoor activities, traveling and yoga with his family.
