Allison McKeany is a Registered Dietitian with over 13 years experience. She has worked in community, hospital, and outpatient-based settings with a variety of different types of patients and practitioners. For the last 6 years, her focus has been on the exciting and evolving area of how diet and lifestyle affect cognitive health throughout the lifespan.
She most enjoy working with patients individually and with their loved ones to help them bridge the gap between health-focused nutrition recommendations and what is realistic and achievable. She prides herself on having an approach that is patient-centered and focused on simplicity and sustainability.
In Allison's personal time, she enjoys spending time with her two daughters and husband and can usually be found swimming, walking, reading, or cooking. Her guilty pleasure is meal planning and grocery shopping on a budget. She also enjoys sharing these skills with those that she works with.
