Over the past 12 months, TeleMed2U grew its national network by over 100 specialist providers and was able to expand the number of patients the team facilitated by over 25% year over year. Today, TeleMed2U’s network includes more than 400 providers supporting 20 specialties and is licensed across all 50 states. In 2024 TeleMed2U forged a number of strategic health plan partnerships each intended to close care gaps while improving patient engagement, experience and outcomes. Notable customer initiatives over the past 12 months included, but are not limited to:
- Extending a partnership with a prominent California health plan by adding Urology, Allergy & Immunology, ENT and Physical Therapy offerings to elevate member access to specialist care.
- Collaborating on a robust offering for Medi-Cal diabetic patients via a team-based care model that includes Endocrinology-led support, Dieticians, Behavioral Health support, Pharmacists, prescriptions delivered to patients’ doors and glucose monitoring options, including both CGMs and cellular glucometers.
- Joining forces with a large health system in a state struggling with provider retention and with many rural communities. Increased access to Primary Care, Dermatology, and Psychiatry services and created a comprehensive hybrid care model that augmented their in-person provider resources.
- Partnering with a managed Medi-Cal plan with over 900,000 members by providing virtual access to Psychiatry (medication management) and Therapy services within three business days on average to augment their in-person provider network.
In support of the company’s ambitious clinical growth initiatives, TeleMed2U continued to invest in the necessary infrastructure to support the delivery of seamless care access that the organization is known for, which includes ongoing provider and support staff professional growth.
