Javeed Siddiqui, MD Founder & Chief Medical Officer
Javeed Siddiqui, MD, MPH is the founder of TeleMed2U where he serves as its Chief Medical Officer with oversight of the company’s clinical and technical program development. Prior to TeleMed2U, from 2002 – 2010, Siddiqui co-developed and directed one of the nation’s leading academic telemedicine programs at the University of California Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. During his tenure he served as associate medical director for the Center for Health and Technology and as medical director for the telemedicine clinics. From 2005 – 2010, Siddiqui secured significant federal and state grant support to develop the first private sector inpatient infectious diseases telemedicine consultative service in the United States. Siddiqui has participated in over one hundred clinical research projects and served as co-principal investigator in telemedicine studies evaluating outcomes, economics, innovative applications and new technology development. He has authored articles in peer-reviewed journals, published manuscripts and abstracts and presented at national and international medical industry conferences. Siddiqui is board certified in infectious diseases and is a member of American Telemedicine Association (ATA), Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA), HIV Medical Association (HIVMA) and CA Medical Association (CMA).
Steven Renard, MBA, CHE Chairman & Chief Executive Officer
Steven R. Renard, MBA, CHE, serves as TeleMed2U’s chairman and CEO with oversight of corporate strategy and product development. Renard has more than 20 years of healthcare experience in site development, operations, mergers and acquisitions and finance. Renard also founded and is president and CEO of Diagnostic Radiology & Oncology Services (DRS), a California-based management and consulting firm. He serves on the boards of multiple healthcare companies and is a chief advisor to both Rely Radiology, a leading national teleradiology subsidiary of Trident Heath System and to Frazier Healthcare, a leading national provider of venture capital to high growth and emerging healthcare companies. Prior to DRS, Renard co-founded and was president and COO at Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging, a multi-facility medical imaging company. Before that he was regional vice president at Comprehensive Medical Imaging, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health, Inc. Renard holds a master’s degree in business administration and is a member of American Telemedicine Association (ATA), Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA), American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA), American Academy of Medical Administrators (AAMA) and American Society for Therapeutic Radiation and Oncology (ASTRO). Renard has been awarded one of the Top 25 Innovators in Radiology, was a finalist for Best Turnaround Executive by the American Business Association and was recognized in RT Image Magazine's 25 Most Influential issue. Renard is a regular contributor to key trade publications such as RT Image Magazine, Advance Magazine for Imaging and Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging Magazine, DI Scan and Outpatient Care Technology.
Renee Kavon Vice President
Renee Kavon is a member and vice president for TeleMed2U with oversight of operations and marketing. Kavon brings 25 years of healthcare management experience in contract negotiation, reimbursement impact analysis, feasibility studies, marketing program and strategy development and due diligence for multi-facility mergers and acquisitions. Prior to TeleMed2U, Kavon served as vice president for Diagnostic Radiology & Oncology Services (DRS). Prior to DRS, Kavon was a consultant for Frazier Healthcare Ventures where she conducted payer trend and reimbursement impact analyses and due diligence for medical imaging acquisitions. Before that she held positions as a vice president of marketing and payer relations at Liberty Pacific Medical Imaging, a regional marketing manager at Comprehensive Medical Imaging (CMI) and a western states regional marketing manager at NovaCare, Inc., a leading national contract rehabilitation enterprise where she also served multiple terms as chapter president of the Associate Council of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF). Kavon holds two bachelor’s degrees in economics and communications and has done graduate work in mass communications. She is a member of American Telemedicine Association (ATA), American Healthcare Radiology Administrators (AHRA), California Association of Health Plans (CAHP) and Radiology Business Managers Association (RBMA) where she currently serves on the executive committee of the California chapter.
